Thoughts on getting Ads on Youtube?

As a website creator, you have to make all kinds of decisions on how to advertise your sites. One of the most creative ways I found was using ads on Youtube to promote it. Whether it was before, during, or after the video it still gets some traction. The only downside I found on this was mainly that people use ad blockers now so getting an ad on Youtube, though creative, would eventually just not work out in the end unfortunately.

Have you thought of using it and if you have what was your experience?

I made many videos on gaming on YouTube and whatnot, but I tend to not get the views and followers, It's just another paid in the butt that takes forever to grow, and need that time growing the site and not your YouTube channel.

Thought about it but having the time to do it, plus I do have the gear to make a video.. JUst that is it really a good idea or maybe have someone who has a bigger channel to do it for you. I say FAceBook video is one good option to get your video out there.

Interesting, I honestly never thought about the possibilities of advertising on youtube. Do they offer anything else besides video ads? If not, I sadly don't think it would be a possibility for the majority of us.

I would attempt to make instructional videos rather than buy the ad space itself. I don't know what you're attempting to sell.

YouTube ads still work as most people are using their phones and don't have YouTube Premium. But, if you can produce video content then just make instructional videos like @trafficmentioned. How to Vids, reviews, informational stuff, etc. Anything that gives value to your audience. Growing a channel takes time, but it's well worth it. Even if your videos get 1-100 views now, all it takes is one to pop off and you will have people subscribing and checking out your older content.

I think youtube is good platform to increase traffics and sales but not for all niche market. If you are in fashion sector then youtube can give you result but if you will place ads for website designing development there, then i think you will get very low or about no result. Its my thought .... If i am wrong then describe that why???
